The reason I come here first is because the XMedia Recode creator apparently speaks German and he has never once directly responded to any of my feature requests, suggestions, bug reports, etc. I am just wondering, is this something that can be fixed from Mediacoder's end or do I need to contact the creator of XMedia Recode.
I loaded this MP4 file into Mediacoder and it loaded fine. I was able to load the MKV muxed with Mkvmerge in Mediacoder and Mediacoder did not freeze.Īs one final test, I decided to use YAMB to remux the MP4 (created with XMedia Recode) to an MP4 file (created with YAMB). I then decided to use Mkvmerge's GUI (mmg.exe) to mux the MP4 back into an MKV.
I used XMedia Recode to mux the MP4 to an MKV and Mediacoder was able to load the MKV, analyze the bitstream, scan the bistream and Medicoder did not freeze. It stalls for minutes until finally if I try to click anything in the program, the titlebar will show "Not Responding" and I have to forcefully close/end task the program. It's possible XMedia Recode is doing something outside of the norm because any time I try to load these MP4 files into Mediacoder, the title bar reads "Analyzing bitstream" followed by "Scanning bitstream". I use another program called XMedia Recode to convert MKVs to MP4 with H.264 video / AC3 audio. I seem to have to have discovered an issue that may or may not be related to Mediacoder.
